Former Republican Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell took to Facebook on Monday to ask her supporters if she should go on “Dancing With The Stars.”

“Although I am utterly flattered, my initial thought was to decline, as 2-year-old nephew has more rhythm than me, and my two left feet,” O’Donnell wrote on her Facebook wall. “What do you think?’

While some responses were encouraging, others worried that O’Donnell would lose credibility if she chose to go on the popular CBS program. “I believe this venue would lower your status and fewer will take you seriously,” one fan wrote. “As fun as it would be to see you dance, I think the libs would attack you as usual,” said another.

After a few hours of soliciting responses, O’Donnell still seemed on the fence. “Still undecided,” she said in an update. “Book comes first.”

O’Donnell signed a book deal with St. Martin’s Press following her defeat by Democratic Sen. Chris Coons last year.
