I don’t think you’re ready for this jelly, but here goes: “Bootylicious” singer Beyoncé Knowles is joining forces with First Lady Michelle Obama and the National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF), to encourage children to stay active, reports SingersRoom and Fox News.

The movement, called the “Let’s Move! Flash Workout” aims to support the first lady’s “Let’s Move” campaign to decrease childhood obesity.

“I am excited to be part of this effort that addresses a public health crisis,” Beyoncé said in a statement. “First Lady Michelle Obama deserves credit for tackling this issue directly, and I applaud the NAB Education Foundation for trying to make a positive difference in the lives of our schoolchildren.”

Beyoncé has provided music and personally recorded an instructional video demonstrating dances moves for junior high school students nationwide to follow.

This isn’t the first time Beyoncé has met with the first lady. In 2009, Beyoncé sang Etta James’s “At Last” during President Barack Obama’s inaugural balls, but her performance was not well received by James, who threatened to “whup [Beyoncé’s] ass.”

“I can’t stand Beyoncé. She has no business up there, singing up there on a big ol’ president day, gonna be singing my song that I’ve been singing forever,” James said.

Beyoncé isn’t the only celebrity with whom Michelle Obama has socialized or collaborated. The first lady made an appearance last year at “Desperate Housewives” star Eva Longoria and actor Antonio Banderas’s charity dinner. She has also been seen with television host, Oprah Winfrey a number of times. President Obama invited singer, Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Marc Anthony to the White House for last month’s Superbowl.
