Father says Osman Daramay, 12, who is charged with hate crime is Muslim too

The Staten Island terror charged with viciously bashing a young female middle-school classmate while demanding to know “Are you a Muslim?” is himself the son of a Muslim woman, his dad revealed today.

“How could a Muslim have another hate crime against a Muslim?” asked Frank Davies, 32, about his son Osman Daramay.

Davies added that while the family does not regularly attend a mosque, they pray at home, and that Osman joins in those Islamic prayers with his Muslim mom, Agnes Daramay.

A woman who identified herself to The Post as Osman’s mother last night said, “I know my son is a good boy. He’s a kid, he made a mistake.”

Yet another example from the ‘religion of peace’. I wonder if this example of ‘peace’ made that little girl wnat to be a muslim? Islam IS AT WAR with non-muslims! GET IT YET? Hate crime my ass! The modern ‘crusaders’ are muslims, not christians.

“How could a Muslim have another hate crime against a Muslim?” I’ll tell you how. Just look at how they treat women. In both the Koran and the Bible women are treated as property and no better than farm animals. On another note, there’s another problem here and that’s with hate crime legislation. We already have laws against murder, assault, and harassment. Elevating one of these violations to a hate crime status, is nothing more than legislating someone’s thoughts. A criminal’s motivations for his crime is nice to know, but is never an element of the crime for the very reason that a person’s thoughts, no matter how repulsive should not be legislated. Hate crimes came about as an emotional response from politicians to make them, and more importantly their constituents, think that they were solving a problem.

Reading the story in the Post, it starts to become very clear what the problem is with this child. It is his father.

The father is quoted a number of times, and each sentence he utters shows him to be an oaf a parent.

Says his boy is a good boy, who watches cartoons and plays video games when he comes home. (Doesn’t every story ever written about some punk kid have a quote, “He’s a good boy” ?)

The boy was recently disciplined by the school for a different incident ,but the father says he doesn’t remember what it was about, except that it was probably something stupid. The father blames everybody else for his son’s issues, and says he will “go after” the school. There are more quotes, and they are all in the same vein.

The child can be taught. The father is hopeless.

“How could a Muslim have another hate crime against Muslim?…”

Oh, I don’t know. Maybe because he and you are lying hypocrites, maybe?

By what is written, boy bashing girl while saying, “Are you a Muslim?”, over and over again. If she had said yes, would the beating stop? If she had said no, would the beating stop? We will never know! So I say yes to the “Hate Crime Charge”.

“Hate crime” is an emotional appeal to make bored lawmakers feel like they are making a difference.
It should be unconstitutional on it’s face because it is a subjective application of law based on what someone believes you to be thinking.

But you no longer have the right to believe as you wish or think what you want. Remember?

It’s to make the victim look more victim-y. I’m waiting for the story of a home invasion where the homeowner is charged with a hate crime for shooting someone breaking into his house…

Hate Crimes, If I shoot you then at that moment I probably hate you. I do not see the purpose or the benefit of this additional charge other than it can tack on a couple more years.
