Grammy Award winner Lady Gaga, who disturbed the Catholic League with her recently debuted single, “Judas,” has given Christians another reason to dislike her. A video for the pop sensation’s new tune, which is told from the perspective of Mary Magdalene, will be released at Easter, reports Digital Spy.

The pop artist will portray Mary Magdalene in the promo, which the video’s co-director Laurieann Gibson described as a “new Jerusalem.”

Bill Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights, has lashed out at Lady Gaga’s song, attesting that the “Monster” singer lacks talent.

“People have real talent, and then there is Lady Gaga. I find Gaga to be increasingly irrelevant,” Donohue said. “She is trying to rip off Christian idolatry to shore up her talentless, mundane and boring performances … Another ex-Catholic whose head is turned around … Is this the only way to jet up her performance?”

A screenshot of Lady Gaga dressed as Mary Magdalene was released on Monday.
