LONDON (AP) — Prince William and Kate Middleton arrived Friday at Buckingham Palace for their evening reception, with the bride changing from her much-talked-about gown into a second Sarah Burton creation — a white strapless evening dress.
After a brief rest at the home of William’s father Prince Charles, the newlyweds returned to the palace for a dinner with about 300 family and friends.
St. James’s Palace said William’s bride had changed into her second outfit of the day, a strapless white satin evening gown with a circle skirt and diamante embroidered detail round the waist.
The couple, newly titled as the duke and duchess of Cambridge, will spend their first night as a married couple at Buckingham Palace.
