If you don’t follow politics, you may not know whether Mississippi Republican Gov. Haley Barbour is a male or a female. Some would call you ignorant, but we don’t blame you. There are plenty of famous political folks with confusing names, and we almost want to shake our fists at their parents for creating unnecessary complications for these poor individuals and the rest of the world. We can imagine the political figures in this slideshow don’t appreciate being mistaken for the wrong sex, but in the political field, you should have thick enough skin to endure sophomoric wise-cracks and know how to put up with duds.
