First I must list my petty remark…Nora O’Donnel has the most obnoxious, cackle I have ever been forced to endure….I watched this interview this morning, as I try and monitor the far left by switching over to Morning Joe until I can’t take it any longer (about 7 minutes, then back to fox)anyway.I really don’t have a problem with Mitt and Romney Care for the very reason stated here by Matt only I think it is fine. It’s MASSACHUSETTS!!!! He wasn’t solely in charge of the bill, there was a legislature that brought the bill up and passed it first. Just like all government dealings. My only problem with Mitt,… “Nice GUY” To win this election you are going to have to be tougher and more in your face to the Press and Obama. Mitt is just to polite to pull this off. Newt could definitley hold his ground but I don’t know if Conservatives are willing to forgive him. I do, but I am more concerned about the survival of the Country than what he did 20 years ago. I am very conservative today, but if you dug up my 20 years ago life you wouldn’t even believe I am a conservative. I just hope we can win. There has never been a more perilous time.
Pretty chummy w/ the MSNBC libs eh, Matt? How about some deeper analysis…..Mass is a very liberal state with a very liberal legislature who proactively shaped “RomneyCare”. Give Mitt credit for actually attempting healthcare reform and for working across party aisles. He did what he could in Mass. He knows MORE about healthcare reform than ANY OTHER candidate.
Furthermore, why in the heck are we focusing on a state bill passed long ago? FOCUS ON ROMNEY’S current plan. Enact state waivers to circumvent ObamaCara day one! Institute pro-market, competitive federal reforms that enable competition. Work to repeal ObamaCare!
A bill in Mass is not important to voters. Romney’s federal plan for President is important to voters. And, his federal plan is a damn good one, right in line with the tea party agenda. Small government, protect federalism, enable open market competition. You’re missing the mark in this attack, Matt.
Well, it seems Matt has thrown his hat in with the “I know Romney best…” crowd. What amazed me was how comfy-cozy he was with the leftist at MSNBC.
