Unlike many 20-year-old girls, “Dancing With the Stars” finalist Bristol Palin has more on her mind than finding a boyfriend.

“There’s no such thing as dating,” the Candies Foundation abstinence ambassador told OK! Magazine in an interview published Monday.

But it wasn’t too long ago that the 20-something admitted to having a significant other, having said in January that there was a new man in her life.

Bristol, who gave birth soon after her mother Sarah Palin ran for vice president in 2008, says she worships her little boy Tripp even though she’s experienced some ups and downs as a single parent.

“My son has changed my life definitely for the better,” Bristol Palin said. “He is the joy of my life, and I couldn’t be more in love with him, but I went from being a 17-year-old kid to being a mom, literally overnight, so it’s definitely been a challenge.”

Palin conceived her little boy with Levi Johnston, who gained notoriety for posing in Playgirl and penning a book titled, “Deer in the Headlights: My Life in Sarah Palin’s Crosshairs” with a goofy cover photo. Johnston’s smarmy habits didn’t go unnoticed by a noteworthy staffer of Sarah Palin, either. The Daily Caller’s Jonathan Strong reported earlier on Tuesday that Sarah Palin’s aide Rebecca Mansour had exchanged messages with a Twitter acquaintance about finding a decent man for Bristol.

Though Bristol Palin adores Tripp, she’s not looking to get pregnant again for a while.

“Not anytime soon,” Bristol Palin told the publication, which noted that this question prompted an “awkward laugh” from the Alaskan.

Bristol Palin recently landed a new reality television series for the BIO Channel. The documentary, which has ordered 10 episodes, features Kyle and Chris Massey and is set to air later this year.
