It’s vulgar and unseemly to pile on MSNBC during their latest debacle. That’s why I’m digging it.

I’ve long enjoyed their Spike Lee-directed “Lean Forward” ads, which are lusciously ripe for parody. There was this one with Keith Olbermann, as mocked by our own Mary Katharine Ham:

And there was this one with Rachel Maddow, which is just plain funny in its own right:

And now Maddow has some new ones. Check this out:

Okay, so, America built the Hoover Dam, which means… nobody should question anything the government does from now on? Or is it just anything the government does under a Democratic administration? It’s unclear. One thing’s for sure: Rachel Maddow was born to wear a hardhat.

Observe as MKH examines Maddow’s assumptions about the world:

Your tax dollars at work, folks.

P.S. I don’t know if anybody has ever done a parody of this Ed Schultz ad, but it might be a moot point anyway:

Good luck hanging onto the one show, Ed. (And yes, I know what you’re thinking, dear reader, but consider this: If you were sitting in a diner and Ed Schultz walked in, would you stick around?)
