The treasurer for former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s political action committee (PAC) released a statement on the release of her emails during her tenure as governor.

“The thousands upon thousands of emails released today show a very engaged Governor Sarah Palin being the CEO of her state,” Sarah PAC treasurer Tim Crawford, said in an email. “The emails detail a Governor hard at work.  Everyone should read them.”

The emails’ release has sparked criticism of the Washington Post and the New York Times from conservatives. Both newspapers issued open calls to their readers to help “investigate” them. It remains unclear what the emails will reveal.
