Anne Hathaway has come a long way from her “Princess Diaries” days. The beautiful brunette opened up in this month’s Harper’s Bazaar, and talked about her upcoming projects and that less-than-stellar hosting gig at this year’s Academy Awards.
“In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Hathaway told the magazine in response to critical reviews she received after hosting the Oscars alongside James Franco. “I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don’t see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars.”
The actress also discussed her role in the highly anticipated new Batman installment, “The Dark Knight Rises,” due out next year. Hathaway, who will play sexy vixen Catwoman in the flick, told the magazine that wearing the iconic leather bodysuit isn’t as easy as it looks.
“I’ve always thought that skinny was the goal, but with this job I also have to be strong,” Hathaway said.
The starlet returns to the big screen this summer in the romantic drama “One Day,” which hits theaters August 19.
