Don’t expect to see Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann get down and dirty with former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

During a campaign event on Wednesday in Charleston, S.C., Bachmann said that news outlets hope to witness a smack-down between her and Palin. (Michele Bachmann ‘glittered’ by gay-rights activist)

“They want to see two girls come together and have a mud-wrestling fight, and I’m not going to give it to them,” Bachmann said.

According to CNN, Bachmann said she’s open to potential Republican contenders for the 2012 presidential election, including Palin.

“This race is wide open and we can accommodate all the candidates who want to come in,” Bachmann said.

PopEater reported on Tuesday that Bristol Palin said that Bachmann wears similar clothes to Sarah.

“I think she dresses a lot like my mom,” Bristol told PopEater. “But a lot, a lot of women have done that the last few years. I do think it’s odd, you know, seeing people with red blazers with their hair up with glasses.”
