This past weekend Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was caught donning a white, 1990’s-esque scrunchie.
But this isn’t the first time the former first lady has rocked an outdated look.
From butterfly hair clips to headbands, Clinton has experienced a number of struggles in the fashion spotlight.
During her unsuccessful bid for the Democratic presidential nomination, Clinton even acknowledged her extreme and often fashion faux pas, the one-time presidential hopeful lambasted her worst outfits in an issue of US Weekly.
And Clinton’s not the only one who’s taken note of her choice of attire.
In 2008, “Project Runway” host Tim Gunn expressed his concern about Clinton’s fashion sense to Conan O’Brien on a late night episode.
“I think she’s confused about what her gender is,” Gunn said. “She’s so mannish in her dress.”
Apparently, her infamous black headbands aren’t enough to dress up Clinton’s often referred to ‘helmet’ hair.
Fortunately for us, the knocks on her wardrobe haven’t stopped her donning the juvenile hair accessories or the questionable pantsuits.
