Hollywood A-listers walked the red carpet with Prince William and Catherine Saturday night at The BAFTA Brits to Watch 2011 Gala.
Wearing an Alexander McQueen pleated silk gown, complete with diamond earrings she borrowed from the Queen, the stunning Duchess of Cambridge said she and William were “excited about being in America,” and Hollywood was equally excited to have them.
Actor Jason Bateman summed up the star-studded gala, saying: “William and Kate are the ultimate movie stars. We are all faking it and getting paid for it. They’re the real deal.”
The royal couple were seated at a table with mega-stars Nicole Kidman and Barbara Streisand.
“They make me smile, I love them. They’re lovely,” a star-struck Kidman said after meeting the royal newlyweds.
The Duke and Duchess mingled with other Hollywood royalty, including Tom Hanks, Julianne Moore, Elizabeth Banks, Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively, and Jessica Alba.
