Commentator Michelle Malkin said Friday she doesn’t think Republican Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch should be re-elected, despite a pro-Hatch website prominently displaying a quotation from her on its website.

The Daily Caller first reported about the existence of the mysterious pro-Hatch website.

The site, “WhoisDickArmey.com,” actually attacks former House Majority Leader Dick Armey, the chairman of the group FreedomWorks. Armey’s organization is actively working to defeat Hatch in the 2012 Utah GOP primary.

The website features a quote from Malkin calling Armey an “amnesty stooge” and a “blowhard-y Beltway dinosaur who can’t resist shooting off his mouth.”

“I don’t know what the beef is between Dick Armey and Orrin Hatch,” Malkin wrote on her blog after TheDC broke news of the “WhoisDickArmey.com” site. “But I will tell you this: While Armey’s pro-amnesty stance bothers me, bailout Swamp Creature Orrin Hatch’s desperate bid to cling to power by morphing himself into a Tea Party cheerleader aggravates me far more.”

She scoffed that website used her quotation, writing that “there is some sort of pro-Hatch, anti-Freedomworks website using my words to support Hatch.” (RELATED: ‘Who Is Dick Armey?’ attack website surfaces)

“I will do whatever I can to support Hatch’s challenger — likely the staunch conservative GOP Rep. Jason Chaffetz, who is a fiscal warrior, tough on illegal immigration, and has a terrific record taking down the GOP establishment,” she wrote.
