Former “Home Improvement” child star Jonathan Taylor Thomas appeared at a recent cast reunion after staying mostly out of the spotlight since the show’s 1999 finale.
Thomas told Entertainment Weekly that since the show went off the air, “I’ve been going to school, and traveling quite a bit, getting to read a lot of books I’ve wanted to for quite some time.”
At this point, the fictional Randy Taylor says he could easily see himself working behind the camera. “That’s not to say I would never act again. I’m not quite sure to be honest. I still have a passion for TV and film could see myself working in it,” he said.
Thomas said the Home Improvement get-together was like a family reunion. Even though it had been over a decade since he saw his on-screen family, they easily slipped back into their old jokes and banter.
