After Sarah Palin called Herman Cain the “flavor of the week,” CBS News tried to bait him into attacking her. That, of course, would have been a mistake.
Instead of tearing Palin down, Cain built himself up, saying: “… rather than being the flavor of the week,” he said, “people are saying ‘Ah, there’s more to that flavor than meets the eye’, and it’s substance.”
