More than 12,000 copies of “This is Herman Cain! My Journey to the White House,” have flown off bookshelves since last week.
The International Business Times also reported that the book was the sixth most purchased book last week. The figure comes from Nielsen Bookscan, which tracks about 80 percent of book sales.
Reached by The Daily Caller, Mary McCue, a publicist for Threshold Editions, declined to comment on the sales, saying it’s company policy not to disclose sales figures.
Cain, the enigmatic Republican presidential candidate, went on a promotional book tour last week, technically going off the campaign trail. Cain says that tour is over and he’s now focused on aggressively campaigning for the White House.
