Stacy Keibler’s romance with salt-and-pepper stud George Clooney has been nothing if not extravagant, between jaunts to his Italian villa and a birthday trip to Cabo. But the former professional wrestler is trying to translate her high-profile relationship with Clooney into real income on the celebrity junket circuit.
Sources close to the model say Keibler won’t walk a red carpet or ring in a club opening for a dime less than $25,000. Her asking price has more than doubled since her relationship with Clooney began. The liaison has raised her profile well beyond WWF or Dancing With the Stars, where she once placed second. “Stacy’s fee has gone up dramatically,” a source told the New York Post. “They are higher because they hope George might show up.”
Keibler used to command around $7,500 to $10,000 an appearance for video game launch parties, club openings and other events . She was slated to make a $10,000 appearance at an anniversary party but more than doubled her fee after several red-carpet appearances on Clooney’s arm.
