Farrakhan recounts UFO abduction, warns West about retribution for Gadhafi’s death

Outspoken Nation of Islam leader Minister Louis Farrakhan took to the Chicago airwaves Tuesday night to condemn the killing of Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi and denounce American military involvement in the Middle East — and to re-tell what he said was the story of his 1985 abduction by aliens from outer space.

“I feel like I have lost a very, very important member of my own family,” Farrakhan told radio host Cliff Kelley on Chicago’s WVON-AM. “So I cannot take the assassination of Moammar Gadhafi lightly as I could not take the assassination of my brother, or my mother, or my wife, or my children lightly.”

Farrakhan warned the West that the joy they feel at Gadhafi’s death of will come back to haunt them in the form of uprisings that will arise in response.

“The Nation of Islam mourns the loss of a great brother leader, the ‘Lion of the Desert,’ the ‘Lion of Africa.’ And those who rejoice at his death — your laughter will turn to tears, and your joy will come to sorrow and great pain because of what the western world and those collaborators will lose as a result of his betrayal and his ultimate assassination.”

Farrakhan also recounted what he claimed was a UFO abduction in which Elijah Muhammad warned him of a coming war. Farrakhan explained how after the 1985 event, then-President Ronald Reagan announced that Americans were to have no dealings with Libya and Gadhafi. It was at that point, he said Tuesday, that he understood this was the war to which his UFO experience alluded.

“I wondered then: Was Moammar Gadhafi the man and the war I was told about? While I was in Ghana it crystallized to me that it was Moammar Gadhafi and Libya. This was in 1986,” he said adding that he immediately took a Russian plane to Libya to warn Gadhafi of “America’s plans.”

“I told them my experience,” he said, “and I told them that America was going to bomb their airport, communications, their water project etc.”

According to Farrakhan, an American bomb strike on Libya shortly after his visit there confirmed his belief in his UFO prophecy.

“[Ghaddafi’s] life was spared and I knew then that God had made a brother for me and made me a brother for him and that is how our relationship began.”

Later in the 2-hour interview Farrakhan accused President Obama of being an “assassin,” warning Americans about their country’s Middle East entanglements.

“You have made your president an assassin, that the only value that he has now is that he was responsible for the death of Osama Bin Laden,” and Anwar al-Awlaki, both of whom should have been given an American trial, Farrakhan said.

“And now Moammar Gadhafi and his sons lay dead. Saddam Hussein lay dead. Well what about your sons? They are dying in Iraq on the basis of a lie. They are dying in Afghanistan on the basis of a lie. And now drones are in Pakistan, drones in Somalia, drones in Yemen,” he exclaimed.

“When will it stop? America, do you think you can get away with this?”
