Inspired by National Geographic’s “Save the Redneck” PSA, The Daily Caller is doing its part to preserve the uniquely-American redneck culture.
We’ll spare you the Mountain Dew mouths and those critters of Wal-Mart, but the region of hills and hollers that brought us moonshine and southern guitar rock also birthed some of America’s most adored icons.
Among the top-ranking redneck favorites are classics like Dolly Parton (and her twins), Tammy “Stand By Your Man” Wynette and “Redneck Woman” anthem singer Gretchen Wilson.
These girls of Dixie may not be high-class broads, but they sure are purty to look at. Here’s to all the sisters who are keepin’ it country.
