Note to Occupy Wall Street: Rape, riots, murder, arson, pushing old ladies down the stairs, lice, and crapping in public don’t poll well

The USA gives OWS down-twinkles.

Public Policy Polling:

The Occupy Wall Street movement is not wearing well with voters across the country. Only 33% now say that they are supportive of its goals, compared to 45% who say they oppose them. That represents an 11 point shift in the wrong direction for the movement’s support compared to a month ago when 35% of voters said they supported it and 36% were opposed. Most notably independents have gone from supporting Occupy Wall Street’s goals 39/34, to opposing them 34/42.

Voters don’t care for the Tea Party either, with 42% saying they support its goals to 45% opposed. But asked whether they have a higher opinion of the Tea Party or Occupy Wall Street movement the Tea Party wins out 43-37, representing a flip from last month when Occupy Wall Street won out 40-37 on that question. Again the movement with independents is notable- from preferring Occupy Wall Street 43-34, to siding with the Tea Party 44-40.

It’s weird how a nationwide crime spree centered around Occupy camps can dampen the public mood, huh? It took a huge media push to convince people the Tea Party was dangerous, but the huge media push to convince them OWS isn’t dangerous has failed. Occupiers are really nice until you get to know them.

In other Occupy news:

Verum Serum points us to these leaders of tomorrow.

[WARNING: Adult language and childish threats]

Dems criticize eviction of Occupy protesters. Good. Louder. Let there be no mistake.

Oscar Ramiro Ortega, the guy suspected of taking a shot at the White House, “may have spent time blending in with Occupy D.C. protesters.” Gee, you mean this guy didn’t stand out there?

Hey, where’s Janet Napolitano’s report on how scary the Occupiers are? Where are all the breathless news stories about the “climate of fear” they’re engendering? What’s changed since our moral, ethical, and intellectual superiors tried to pin Gabby Giffords’ shooting on the Tea Party a mere 10 months ago? What’s different now?

Oh yeah. That.

P.S. John Nolte:

This is a five day old story about a man who may have fired shots at the White House with the intent of killing our President, and he has connections to the Occupy Wall Street movement. But for all intents and purposes, the MSM is covering up and underplaying these facts. And they’re most certainly doing everything in their power to keep us from connecting those dots.

Think about how corrupt the MSM is. We may have a man on the loose with the intent to kill our President, and the media is likely underplaying the story to protect the Occupy Wall Street movement.

P.P.S. NY Post:

Mayor Bloomberg finally decided to wipe Zuccotti Park clean after learning about a rancid outbreak of scabies, lice and lung ailments among protesters — and most importantly because his reputation was taking a beating…

P.P.P.S. They got the White House shooter. No word yet how he’s Palin’s responsibility.

P.P.P.P.S. And the guy in that clip who threatened to firebomb Macy’s is in jail too. This was the worst day to be an Occupier since yesterday.
