A woman jogging to work, a man sleeping on a park bench, another playing drinking games and a fourth being shocked awake in a dilapidated apartment — what do they all have in common? Apparently, they all host a morning show on a cable news channel.
On MSNBC’s Monday broadcast of “Morning Joe,” the show’s cast unveiled their new three minute-long television promo. It features Mika Brzezinski running in a cocktail dress to the studio, Willie Geist wrapping up the night’s activities in a New York City basement bar, Mike Barnicle napping on a park bench and Joe Scarborough passed out in a one-bedroom apartment with the show’s soccer analyst Roger Bennett of ESPN.

This promo is a departure from the network’s other commercials, which were directed by filmmaker Spike Lee and have a more serious, left-of-center political theme.
