Obama’s marriage advice to soldiers: ‘Punch above your weight’

President Barack Obama addressed soldiers at Fort Bragg today as he marked the end of American military presence in Iraq.

As he stepped up to the lectern, he offered some unsolicited marriage advice to the uniformed audience.

“Gentlemen, that’s your goal: to marry up,” declared the president, following an opening speech by first lady Michelle Obama. “Punch above your weight.”
