MTV is reviving Punk’d, according to The Hollywood Reporter — to the excitement of nobody in particular.
Ashton Kutcher’s prank show originally ran from 2003 to 2007, with Kutcher as the on-air host.
The show pulled pranks on everyone from Eminem to Beyonce and Justin Timberlake. If you’ve never seen the pop star’s breakdown over supposedly owing $900,000 in back taxes, it’s worth a glimpse.
With Kutcher starring on Three and a Half Men, it is unlikely that he will reappear in front of the camera. Let’s hope the new host knows that the trucker hat look is so early 2000s.
