Zooey Deschanel is one cutie who is getting off the death cab.
The “New Girl” star and her husband of two years, Death Cab For Cutie frontman Ben Gibbard, are getting a divorce.
Deschanel filed for divorce on Dec. 27, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple announced their separation two months ago.
Hipsters from Los Angeles to Brooklyn will rejoice that the indie screen queen and “She and Him” singer is now single.
Gibbard told New York Magazine in September, “I’d seen her movies and obviously I thought she was very beautiful, he said. “I was just awestruck that she was even talking to me.”
Yeah, so were we.
