Americans for a Better Tomorrow, Tomorrow has launched an ad in South Carolina that suggests former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney  just may be a “serial killer.”
The super PAC — which is also now known as The Definitely Not Coordinating With Stephen Colbert Super PAC — was founded by comedian Stephen Colbert. Colbert transferred control of the PAC to Jon Stewart of “The Daily Show” last week so he could form an exploratory committee to consider a run for “president of the United States of South Carolina.”
“Mitt Romney claims to be pro-corporations,” Stewart says in a press release announcing the ad. “But would you let him date your daughter’s corporation? Americans have been clamoring for a comprehensive study of this crucial issue, so we splurged for the full sixty-second commercial. We think South Carolinians will agree — they deserve a leader who shares their state’s values, and perhaps even their state’s initials.”
The satirical ad is narrated by actor John Lithgow.
