It’s no secret that Washington Post “Right Turn” blogger Jennifer Rubin is a fan of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. But on Saturday, in the face of a convincing win by former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich’s 12-point win over Romney, Rubin let her emotions fly.
During Gingrich’s victory speech from his campaign headquarters in Columbia, S.C. Saturday, Rubin tweeted her play-by-play thoughts on the speech. And if her serial spelling errors at the very end are any indication, she grew more irritated with Gingrich as his speech progressed:

Rubin did have some words of praise for her favorite Republican’s South Carolina concession speech on her blog, suggesting it was a pivot to be “a more fired up Romney”:
Mitt Romney’s concession speech was as strong a pivot as he could have hoped to pull off. Tonight saw a more fired up Romney. (“I’m passionate about defending economic liberty!”) He emphasized this is the beginning of a long race. But the substance of his speech focused on casting Newt Gingrich in the role of the Washington legislator/attacker of free enterprise and himself in the role of job creator/defender of capitalism.
