MILLS RIVER — California craft-beer giant Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. has chosen Henderson County for its East Coast expansion, Gov. Beverly Perdue and company officials announced today.
The company plans to create 95 full-time jobs and invest $107.5 million in Henderson County during the next five years, according to a news release from the governor’s office.
The company expects to hire another 80 part-time employees and create about 60 construction and mechanical jobs during its 24-month building phase. These jobs will be created in gradual phases starting later this year and continuing through 2013.
