Greg Kelly, the son of New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly and co-host of Fox5’s “Good Day New York,” is under investigation for allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in lower Manhattan, law enforcement officials have told The New York Post.

The Manhattan District Attorney’s office is conducting the investigation.

Kelly “strenuously denied” the accusation, his lawyer Andrew Lankler told the Post. “[He] is cooperating fully with the district attorney’s investigation. We know the district attorney’s investigation will prove Mr. Kelly’s innocence,” Lankler said.

Sources said that the woman filed the complaint on Tuesday after 8:00 p.m. at the 13th Precinct station house. She claimed the assault was on October 8 when she met Kelly and had drinks with .

The alleged victim claims her and Kelly went to a law firm in lower Manhattan where the attack supposedly took place.

When the alleged victim’s boyfriend found out, the Post reported he was “furious” and “told Ray Kelly that Greg had ‘ruined my girlfriend’s life.'”

Kelly’s “Good Day New York” co-host Rosanna Scotto said, “I love Greg. That’s all I can say.”

Kelly did not appear on Thursday morning’s program.
