Beyoncé doesn’t have enough money, fame or exposure.
So Simon Cowell has reportedly offered her an annual salary of $100 million to appear as a full-time judge on the “X-Factor” singing competition show.”
The show had a major shakeup earlier this week when Cowell ousted host Steve Jones and judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.
“X-Factor” is almost exactly like “American Idol” with a different title, so ratings for the show were sluggish during its first season.
“He wants a big-name female star on the panel,” said a source to MediaTakeOut. “He wants Beyoncé because that would immediately give him the bounce needed to beat ‘American Idol.”
Beyoncé gave birth to her first daughter, Blue Ivy, last month. She is married to rapper Jay-Z.
