There is another Treadstone assassin on the loose, but it isn’t Matt Damon.
In a newly-released trailer for “The Bourne Legacy,” Jeremy Renner stars as “Aaron Cross,” another special agent from the organization that produced Damon.
The film is not a reboot of the other four “Bourne” films, but a spinoff that relies on Bourne’s M.O. — kicking ass and taking names.
Renner most recently starred in “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.” He was nominated for a best supporting actor Academy Award in 2011 for his role in “The Town.”
