“When the government controls your energy, they control your life,” says Dan Kish, the Institute for Energy Research’s senior vice president for policy.

Kish has devoted his career to dealing with energy issues, including serving as chief of staff for Republicans on the House Resources Committee and in the same capacity on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

In an interview with TheDC’s Ginni Thomas, Kish discusses the most important energy-related issues of the day, from the president’s power-grabbing energy agenda to the Keystone pipeline controversy and much more.
