Maybe in a sign of desperation, at a Michigan event last week, Mitt Romney supporters pulled the oldest campaign trick in the book and removed his opponent’s signs.

Hours before Romney’s appearance in the Shelby township, Romney’s crew uprooted hundreds of Santorum signs. An officer saw the theft of the Santorum signs but did not intervene.

In an Interview with The Daily Caller, a staffer for presidential hopeful Rick Santorum said, “A political campaign should be the epitome of free flow of ideas and political speech… If the Romney camp is unwilling to defend the fundamental right of free speech during the campaign, what makes you think they’ll boldly uphold our constitutional rights once elected.”
