This weekend was fruitful, in terms of providing us with some new additions to Mitt Romney’s greatest hits. In fact, two of the top seven quotes come from the last 72 hours.

Romney might be the front runner for the Republican nomination, but playing the populist card sure isn’t his bag. And so, with no further ado, I present Mitt Romney’s top seven “Gordon Gekko” moments:

1.I’m not concerned about the very poor…”

2.I like being able to fire people…”

3.Ann drives a couple of Cadillacs...”

4. “I have some great friends who are NASCAR team owners

5. “I’m also unemployed

6. I know what it’s like to worry whether you’re going to get fired”

7. 10,000 bet?”

These lines are sure to demonstrate that Mitt Romney is, in fact, deeply in touch with the pain and suffering afflicting millions of struggling Americans in places like Detroit.

(I’m sure we won’t be hearing any more lines like these in the coming weeks and months…)
