In keeping with its tradition of featuring scantily clad women doing questionable things to cheeseburgers, the fast food chain Carl’s Jr. debuted a new commercial featuring Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition cover girl Kate Upton.
Other ads have featured Kim Kardashian, Audrina Patridge, Paris Hilton and Padma Lakshmi.
And while we aren’t quite sure how cheeseburgers and lingerie models are related, the strategy seems to be working for the burger joint. Apparently, the terms “lingerie” and “Carl’s Jr.” are paired together in Google searches more often than not.
