He’s about 12 pounds, has brown and white fur and wears a red checkered tie. Hank is running for an open U.S. Senate seat in Virginia on the platform of job creation.

Hank is also a cat.

He is positioning himself as a Washington outsider who knows what it is like to have nothing. Hank grew up on the streets, and even spent time on death row at an animal shelter before he was adopted.

According to his Facebook page, Hank has moderate political stances, and is focused on job creation.

Hank knows that the key to a better America and a brighter future is the creation of jobs — jobs that will improve a street, a town, a state, and the nation. These time-tested ideas and Hank’s energy and determination make him the best candidate for the job, and have brought millions of Virginians from frustrated voters to energized campaigners.

The Senate race in Virginia has been dominated by two former Virginia governors, Republican George Allen and Democrat Tim Kaine.

The Hank for Senate office could not be reached for comment as of Monday afternoon.
