On his Thursday radio show, conservative host Mark Levin, author of “Ameritopia: The Unmaking of America,” had a new term for the President Barack Obama: “The condom president.”

Levin noted that the birth control debate has become more prevalent than the debate over any other issue, including the toll inflation is taking on certain basic necessities.

“By the way, have you noticed the price of everything is going up?” Levin said. “Oil, gas, food, basics, light bulbs, water — except for condoms, they’re free now. So this is the administration that has its priorities: Condoms first, second and third, everything else after. It’s the condom president. As I said the other day, a condom in every pot and pot in every car. There you go. That’s the Democrat message.”

Levin went on to explain how to take the conservative message and sell it to younger audiences, which have been exposed to “years and years of propaganda and indoctrination.”

“Look, if you’re confronted with 10 young people who are not politically involved … and you’re not sure how to address them, the first thing you do is you change the situation — the themm against me to me talking to two or three of them at a time, if that helps. And you go step by step by step by step and you ask them questions. ‘Well, what do you mean you’re a liberal? What does that mean?’ And you start to unravel what has been years and years of propaganda and indoctrination. Don’t confuse conservative philosophy with Republican Party membership.”

There were some pitfalls he said, but it was an argument he said that he had found to be effective.

“If liberals are running your local Republican Party, don’t defend that,” he continued. “Argue that that ought to change. But I always start with individual liberty because I have always found — and when I was I a young person in college and law school and so forth — this was persuasive for me. The statists always pose as liberators using government to give you choices and options. That has to be put to rest. They’re the authoritarians. They are the ones that seek to control the individual, so you need to straighten these things out.”
