The makers of the cold medicine Theraflu don’t think Kanye West’s new song “Theraflu” is very “sick” — to use the slang term for “awesome” these days.
A company rep tells TMZ, “We in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner.”
The single from West’s newest album, “GOOD,” suggests that West’s haters are, “way too cold, I promise you’ll need some Theraflu.”
Theraflu’s statement does not say whether or not the company will proceed with legal action.
West’s song also made headlines this week for insinuating that West is in love with Kim Kardashian. (RELATED: Kim Kardashian is definitely banging Kanye West now)
The statement concludes: “Theraflu is an over-the-counter product used to help relieve cold and flu symptoms that millions of consumers rely on.”
