The FBI arrested a Texas man earlier this week for attempting to hire illegal immigrants to kill two city officials in Arlington, Texas, after the strip club he owned was shut down.

The arrest warrant said that Ryan Grant, the owner of the strip club Flashdancer, was offering to pay immigrants from Mexico $10,000 per victim, Fox News reported.

The targets were Robert Cluck, the mayor of Arlington, and Tom Brandt, an attorney for the city. Grant blamed them for their roles in shutting down Flashdancer after a nuisance lawsuit was filed against the business. The suit was settled out of court and Flashdancer was ordered to shut down for a year.

Grant claimed that the suit and forced closure of his business cost him $800,000.
