For those hoping that Latin singer Marc Anthony and American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez would be reconcile — dream on.
In not so surprising news, Anthony officially filed for divorce from Lopez on Monday, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
As TMZ reports, Anthony is seeking joint and physical custody of the couples four-year-old twins, Emme and Max. He is also denying Lopez spousal support should she ask for it.
The divorce should come as no surprise, since Anthony and Lopez both quickly moved on to much younger companions.
Lopez has shown no restraint when it comes to showing off her 24-year-old boy toy Casper Smart, while Anthony isn’t afraid of showing some PDA with his Venezuelan model girlfriend, Shannon De Lima.
