Pippa Middleton may face jail time after gun incident in Paris
Take a good look at Pippa Middleton while you can because she may be facing jail time.
The younger sister of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton was photographed in the passenger seat of an Audi in Paris Sunday night when the driver pulled out a gun and jokingly aimed it at a photographer that was following them, the Sun reports.
This incident took place just weeks after the shootings in Toulouse that killed seven people and a source says Middleton may face arrest.
“If the evidence points to her involvement, she will be prosecuted,” the source told The Sun, “Anybody involved in the illegal use of a handgun in public is liable to arrest and interrogation.”
If the gun proves to be real, all parties face up to seven years in prison. Even if it’s fake, the passengers in the car could get two years in the clink.
The source said, “Certainly if you were in a car and knew somebody was using a gun to warn people off you’d be liable to arrest.”
According to the London newspaper, the targeted photographer was “considering his options” Sunday night over making a formal police complaint.
Duncan Larcombe confirmed the story to Good Morning America Monday and said it’s unclear whether Middleton told the gun-toting man off after the incident or whether she found it funny.
“In the pictures, unfortunately for her, it does look as though she found the funny side of it,” he said.
