The Madden Curse: A brief history [SLIDESHOW]

Vince Young came to the NFL as the darling of Texas who had just helped UT beat USC for the 2006 National Championship, which is considered one of the best college football games of all time. Young won the Offensive Rookie of the Year award and was selected to the Pro Bowl before he was put on the cover of Madden in 2008. The curse? Young injured his quad during the season, costing him to miss a game and changed his mobile play as a running quarterback. Fast forward a couple of years, to when Young was on suicide watch with police, and the Titans cut him. He’s now Michael Vick’s backup in Philadelphia.
