The Killers sax player Tommy Marth commits suicide at 33

Tommy Marth, a saxophone player for The Killers, was found dead on Monday at his Las Vegas home. The death of the 33-year old was ruled a suicide, according to reports.

“Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There’s a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy,” said a statement from The Killers, via Las Vegas Weekly.

Marth played sax on the pop-rock band’s global tour in 2008-2009, and can also be heard on the group’s albums “Sam’s Town” (2006) and “Day & Age” (2008).
