Nicholas Ballasy is the Senior Video Reporter for The Daily Caller covering Congress and national politics. Ballasy has interviewed a wide range of political leaders and celebrities including former President Bill Clinton, Sen. John McCain, Sen. John Kerry, former Gov. Mitt Romney, former House Speakers Nancy Pelosi and Newt Gingrich, Kevin Spacey, Tom Hanks, Whoopi Goldberg, Richard Dreyfuss, Harrison Ford, Matt Damon, Joan Rivers, Gloria Estefan, Jon Stewart, Dave Matthews, Neil Munro, Stevie Wonder, etc. His work has been featured by CNN, Fox News, NBC, CBS, ABC, The Drudge Report, Washington Post and New York Times, among others.

CBS anchor Gayle King, Oprah Winfrey’s longtime friend, told The Daily Caller that people are “forgetting” that President Barack Obama has “done everything” he promised during the 2008 presidential campaign.

“President Obama has done everything that he said he was going to do and I think people keep forgetting that. People keep forgetting. He talked about health care, he talked about Osama bin Laden, he talked about ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,’ he’s done everything that he said he was going to do,” she said after the White House Correspondents Dinner.

“If you ask me, I think President Obama is doing a very good job.”

When asked which tax rate she would be comfortable paying, King said, “Listen, I’m okay with paying more. I am okay with that. I totally get that. What would I be comfortable with? I’d have to think about that but I realize that, you know, to much is given, much is expected so I get that. I’m totally on board with that.”

The White House-supported “Buffett Rule” would require individuals making over $1 million annually to pay a minimum of 30 percent in taxes. (SEE ALSO: Obama’s dog-eating jokes missing from press reports)

“Let’s think about that one for a second. Let’s mull that one over,” said King.
