Amar’e Stoudemire does not have significant damage from smashing his left hand into a fire extinguisher’s glass case shortly after the Knicks lost Game 2 in Miami on Monday night, but he will miss the remainder of the series against the Heat, according to a person with direct knowledge of Stoudemire’s status.
Stoudemire did not sustain any broken bones or tendon, ligament or nerve damage, the person said.
