If there is one thing that everyone in Washington, D.C. should be able to agree on, it’s cocktail hour.
And perhaps alcohol is what keeps Democratic strategist James Carville and Republican strategist Mary Matalin living together under one roof, since we now know that they can at least agree one thing: Maker’s Mark bourbon.
The husband and wife team may fight up and down on politics, but in a commercial for the brand, they both support “the Cocktail Party.” Maybe there would be more compromise on Capitol Hill if Maker’s Mark were involved more often.
