Keep it in your pants, John

Apparently facing multiple felony charges — especially when they stem from a love child he spent a fortune hiding from his wife — isn’t enough to convince John Edwards of the importance of being a respectable human being.

ABC News is reporting Edwards has complicated his trial with an ongoing flirtation with an alternate juror.

Considering that he faces up to 30 years in prison, let’s say it’s just a tad surprising that Edwards appears more interested in flirting with a juror than defending himself from leaving his children without a free father.

Then again, given the eccentricity of his behavior in recent years, perhaps such surprise is just naiveté.
