Do Americans approve of Obama’s ‘kill list’? [VIDEO]

Roaming the streets of our nation’s capital, we asked people whether the president of the United States should have the right to order the killing of suspected terrorists without a trial.

Why the blunt question? On Tuesday The New York Times reported that President Barack Obama has been intimately involved in a process that determines enemies of the state, specifically the bluntly named “kill list.”

Until then the Obama administration had made sure that list, which authorizes U.S. forces to capture or kill an individual on sight, maintained a low profile

The report raised questions about ethics in war since targeted drone strikes in foreign countries often result in civilian casualties. Do Americans stand behind the practice? We hit the streets to find out.
