CHANTILLY, Va. — Alex Jones, the radio show host and America’s paramount conspiracy weaver, danced around a series of questions from The Daily Caller during the “Occupy Bilderberg” protests Thursday.

The Bilderberg meeting is an annual gathering of influential political, media and business figures. Since the meetings are by invitation only and held in secrecy, conspiracy theorists project them as gatherings with awesome powers, and speculate that participants are laying the ground work for a one-world government. Some even allege they have the power to select the next American president.

Jones is among the leading proponents of the Bilderberg conspiracy (as he is almost every major conspiracy) and the most prominent voice among this year’s protesters.

The conference is expected to run through the weekend.
